Description
Other impressions of this image included variant coloring, some hand-painted. It appears that Randall did not edition any of these impressions but he would occasionally note if one was a proof. This impression has four printed colors, including a rich bronze ink, as well as both silver and gold leaf seen in the sun and on the waves.
A note on condition: This appears to have been printed on a gray-tinted laid paper that was lightstruck within the bound of the old mat opening. Therefor, the edges of the sheet remain gray while the paper on which the image was printed is a medium tan color. Price reflects condition.
