According to Landeck, this print was "The Interior of the studio in Litchfield, Connecticut, which I rented one winter. I set it all up for prints, but somehow it wasn't right for printmaking, so I used it for painting. I recall that I traded a painting to a salesman for a complete set of Grumbacher paints."
