Description
Said Walker of this and three other woodcuts created at the same time: '"The First One", "The One Coming", "What’s In their Own Mind", and "Yet if they Fail to Express" ...were all printed by Kim Vanderheim of Painted Tongue Press in Oakland, CA. They all have their roots in my long immersion in nature but are not done directly from any particular landscape. The print titles were inspired by Zen Master Ryokan and his poems which you will find in part here:
