Nothing has been found yet on the artist Vladimir Yefimov, who may have gone by the first name Volodya. It is presumed that he spent time with the artist Seymour Kaplan in Russia. The Snow Maiden is a traditional Russian fairy tale figure who travels with Father Christmas to deliver presents during the New Year.
