Waterfalls were among the many geological wonders that intrigued Edmond Casarella, and, in his typical fashion, with "Waterfall II" he has deconstructed one such powerful element form into its simplest - but no less stunning - form. Casarella chooses a monochromatic palette and fractal shapes to portray his muse. An angular stream of "water" squeezes and tumbles its way down a wall of black boulders, enclosed on either side by a field of stormy gray.
