Description
Kenneth Nack wrangles and wrestles the litho crayon with wild abandon in this abstract expressionist cityscape, the lines drawn boldly, quickly, as if he were attempting to capture the remnants of a dream before they disappeared into his waking thoughts. An element of the surreal finishes the piece as the omnipresent shapes of faces - the inverted negative space between his row houses - loom above the street like the watchful eyes of gods.
