McVicker's "Egyption Series #2" features a three dimensional quality in his use of cut work and collage. He's printed a wild, colorful, automatic-line style intaglio, and carefully and precisely cut out rigid, geometric shapes within the image; he then collaged one to two pieces of inked wove paper behind the cut-out shapes.
