Description
Among the petroglyphs and cultural objects Winkler has recreated in this drawing are the Willendorf Venus, French and Spanish cave drawings of animals and hands, painted stone tools and the "Neighing Horse" head carving from the Mas d'Azil Cave. Winkler did a series of drawings that refer specifically to Paleolithic animal petroglyphs.
