Turkey Tail, or Trametes versicolor, is a polypore mushroom found throughout the world. Versicolor, meaning of several colors, describes this decorative mushroom patterned by undulating stripes of color. Turkey Tail lacks any sort of stem and has a bracket formation. The genus contains about fifty species.
