Description
Jean Moss notes in "Gustave Baumann and Friends: Artist Cards from Holidays Past" that in 1945 we could get back to frivolous things. If one views Baumann's lifetime of work and writing, it is hard to imagine that he could find time for frivolity. His archive at the New Mexico History Museum gives us insight into his sense of fun. With this card Baumann is promoting, upholding, and perpetuating the interests of Santa Claus.
