Description
According to Bea Brommer, Hindu Dancer was included in an 1919 exhibition of work by Odilon Redon and Oscar Kokoschka at the Art Gallery PIctura in The Hague. This image is from a series of about 128 woodblock prints done based on the artist's life in Java and Indonesia in general, many depicting the dress and culture of the islands.
