Nothing is found on the artist Brian McKinney who was active around the 1970s-80s. Several screenprints of similar OpArt/PopArt style can be found online, and none of these offer any more information. Despite this disappointing dead end, we appreciate the artist's highly detailed screenprinting style, with nearly minute "tiles" of icons are assembled into a larger image. Some see an image of a lion's head; others an image of a lion battling another beast. Perhaps, however, we are simply under the influence of the title?
