Description
Despite a seemingly prolific painting output and a lengthy exhibiting list, the printed work of James Groff is minimally catalogued and difficult to track down. He attended the Art Institute of Chicago and Southern Illinois University, where he focused on both painting and printmaking, and was a member of the American Society of Printmakers. We hope to learn more about Groff, who was clearly a talented printmaker with a knowledge of complex intaglio techniques.
