A portrait of Maurice Maeterlinck (1862 - 1949), the Belgian playwright and Nobel Lauriate in literature. This portrait was done for the French publication Pan in 1898 and was included in the third edition, part 4. Petitjean is only known to have done three lithographs, of which this is one.
