Description
This image, sometimes referred to as "Nu de femme de face" (nude woman from the front), was also used on the early covers of L'Éphémère, a poetry review quarterly published by Fondation Maeght from 1967 to 1972. Alberto Giacometti had a lifelong friendship and working relationship with the founder of Maeght Galerie and Fondation, Aimeé Maeght. The foundation currently holds one of two of the largest Giacometti collections in the world. This poster was created for his show in Paris in 1961.
