Description
A preparatory sketch for Pollak's etching of Ferdinand Julius Fohs, noted petroleum geologist. Fohs Hall in Marion, Kentucky was built in 1926 on the site of the house where he grew up. Fohs donated funds and gave the building to the city of Marion to be used as a community center.
