Description
Rosario is a self-taught artist and printmaker, and is vice coordinator of the Muraleando community project in Havana, Cuba. He has held 8 collective exhibitions and his works are in private collections in the USA, Germany, Canada, Cuba, Italy, France and other countries.
"Muraleando" refers to the Proyecto Cultural Muraleando, a community art project and gallery in the Luyano neighborhood of Havana, known for its promotion of children's exposure to the arts. A former dump site, it was appropriated from the city by artist Manuel Baldrich, who slowly transformed it into a haven for street artists and local children to create and take workshops on painting, printmaking, sculpture, and more. It soon became a destination for tourists.
