Description
Rabbi Irving Reichert (1895 - 1968) served as spiritual leader at San Francisco's Temple Emanu-El from 1930 to 1947, and as the president of Northern California Board of Rabbis from 1934 to 1936. He was a founding member the American Council for Judaism, and became known for his social justice and interfaith relations work.
