Description
This depicts a sail boat on Brodick Bay on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. Stevenson lived there in the early 20th century. It was most likely painted around 1910 and given to Georg Brøchner in 1929.
From the collection of the Danish writer, critic, and collector, Georg Frederik Brøchner (1847-1933). Brøchner wrote many articles for The Studio and The International Studio.
