	Description
At the time of this etching's creation, the Joshua Tree, or Yucca brevifolia, was considered a part of the Lily family. It's now known to be a part of the Agave family, and its unique and delicate life cycle, along with its unusual appearance (often considered an inspiration to Dr. Seuss), makes it a major tourist attraction of the American Southwest. England-born, Wisconsin-based printmaker Leon Pescheret found great inspiration in unusual landscapes throughout the U.S.
