Description
As yet we have not found any information on the photographer Lauren Lantos. However, her skill is evident in this gelatin silver print--she had a keen eye for the play of shadow and light in monochromatic compositions. Here, man of Native American descent, perhaps Navajo, stands in the doorway of an adobe in the Southwest, a sign over his head advertising "Fried Bread For Sale".
