It’s About Time (portfolio containing 6 color collagraphs)

"It's About Time" is a portfolio of color intaglios, collagraphs using the parts from disassembled clocks and watches. Each of 6 sheets is folded in half with collagraphs on both sides. At the top is the text "TIME" with text down both sides of the fold. The first sheet is numbered 14/50, signed "KA Kasten" and dated "94" in blue crayon. Each folded sheet is initialled "KAK" in pencil in the lower right.

The sixth sheet has an image on the left and the colophon on the right half which states: "Karl Kasten - It's About Time / Limited editon of fifty copies / numbered from 1 to 50. The twelve / collagraphs are printed in Milan / on the presses of Georgio Upiglio / on Hahnemüle paper. Typeset in / Garamond Bold, printed by Rodolpho / Campi, Milan. September 1994. / Copy number 14/50 / Karl Kasten" (the editioning and signature in pencil).

The 6 folded sheets are enclosed in a folded paper sheet of Hahnemüle paper, which is titled. This, in turn, is enclosed in stiff, folded mustard colored paper with the title and edition number.
