Description

Colescott used letterpress letters and an antique brass plate he had found in the composition and printing of this image.

An impression of this etching in the Racine, Wisonsin Art Museum is uniquely titled "Goodby Jack." Another impression was exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Center in 1968. The printing campaign lasted between 1966 and 1967.
