Description
Scilla is a town in Calabia, in the Province of Raggio at the "toe" of Italy. It is the home of the Greek mythological sea monster Scylla and is near the Strait of Messina in the Mediterranean Sea. There is a small peninsula on which is built the Castello Roffo, abstracted to the left in this painting.
