Description
A set of proofs for each color, of which she used nineteen in total, illustrates the technical mastery of Chatham's screenprinting. Though the piece is imbued in the red/yellow end of the color spectrum, she ultimately included deep blue, purple, deep sage, and pale gray to acheive the final look. Chatham is one of printmakers whose innovation was instrumental in establishing screenprinting as a fine art.
