Jan Stussy

An early abstraction by Stussy suggests a rugged, angular California coastal range, a lone fishing cabin near the shoreline from which a pier extends outward along the calm surface of the sea. The sharp, conical bodies of fir trees scratch the horizon, jutting up toward a moody sky.
