Description
An early abstraction by Stussy suggests a rugged, angular California coastal range, a lone fishing cabin near the shoreline from which a pier extends outward along the calm surface of the sea. The sharp, conical bodies of fir trees scratch the horizon, jutting up toward a moody sky.
Jan Stussy used the whole stone to create the image and the broken, uneven edges become part of the composition
