Description
Simon Edme Paul Jacquinot-Godart was a magistrate and president of the Dourt for the Seine in 1833 and was responsible for many lawsuits against Charivari. He personified judicial authority in early 19th century France. This print was not part of the series Gens de Justice. RARE. Impressions of this lithograph are difficult to find.
