Description
Little is known about the Oakland-based artist, save for an exhibition release published by the Museum of Modern Art in 1947. A nation-wide textile design competition landed Guichard among the fifteen honorable mention award receivers, and her work was displayed along with all other Bay Area winners at Gump's in San Francisco.
