From the Vincent Price Sears Roebuck collection, active from 1962 - 1971. A major exhibit of Price's Sears collection was geared toward promoting works by talented but as-yet-unknown artists of the time. Sears also wanted to promote the enrichment of American homes through art by making it available to the general public, creating monthly payment installments for the art as it would home furnishings and equipment. By the time the program ended, more than 50,000 pieces of fine art had been sold through the collection.
