Jim Crabb studied printmaking at San Jose State with Geoff Bowman. This Surrealist inspired image was done in the mid 1970's, and showcases the extraordinary delicacy he achieved with the etching needle and the sensitivity employed in the gradated use of color aquatint.
A note on condition: in the lower left-center edge of the plate some yellow ink has escaped into the lower margin during the printing process. Price reflects this.
