Description
A commanding view in miniature from the famously steep hills of San Francisco; in this case, the top of Russian Hill looking east out over the Bay toward Oakland and Berkeley. Lombard runs below, and int he distance a dramatic sky signals an approaching storm. Torrance doesn't miss a detail, capturing the laundry fluttering on the line and, on the balconies of an adjacent apartment building, potted plants hiding safely beneath their awnings.
