An extraordinary, large format color woodcut on a heavy sheet of fibrous wove. The artist has carved even the most minute details for this abstract, somewhat surreal print, and displays a technical accuracy coupled with elegant artistic style that suggests a well educated artist - whether in a school or of their own volition.

Thus far, we've found almost nothing on the artist Mieko Yoshihara, though their work is included in the collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art and has gone at auction.
