Description
After the advertising poster for the Besnard kerosene parlor stove. While Keonigsegg did write the name of the original artist on the backing sheet of this miniature painting, it is not entirely legible. It appears to be "Tinaere," which might be a misspelling of the poster designer Louis Tinayre's surname.
Besnard was half of the Maris & Besnard manufacturing company in Paris, known for their oil lamps and portable cooking stoves, like the cast iron tabletop stove shown here. They were used as slow cookers, for reheating, and for boiling water.
