Description
After the poster advertising the Eyquem Limograph, a do-it-yourself printing machine and very distant precursor to the photocopier. The subtitle loosely translates, "Print 3000 copies yourself without manipulation with the automatic ball[-bearing printer] Eyquem." Created around 1900 by French industrialist Maurice Eyquem, it was similar to the more well-known Gestetner cyclostyle, roatry duplicator that use waxed paper as the stencil. It was used to duplicate letters, flyers, small fanzines, and other ephemera that required wide distribution.
