	Description
From August 16 to September 11, 1949, Israeli artist and designer Bezalel Schatz, who had made the US his temporary home after fleeing the rise of Nazi power in Europe, held an exhibition of oil paintings at the San Francisco Museum of Art. His friend and sometime collaborator Henry Miller wrote the text for the exhibition's catalogue, which was published in an edition of 500, each with a tipped-in original screenprint signed and numbered by the artist. This comes from one such publication.
