Scottish printmaker Robert McKechnie (1894-1975) was a student of Claude Flight at the Grosvenor School and was married to fellow Scot and woodcut artist Margaret Barnard (1900-1992). They lived in Italy for a while and in 1934 settled in Rye, Sussex, England.
