Gudmund Herman Peter Hentze, Danish painter and illustrator, was born on June 1, 1875 in Naestved, Denmark. After completing his art studies in Copenhagen he traveled through Germany and Italy.  Hentze is best known for his miniature portraits.  Gudmund Hentze died in 1948 in Denmark.
