Little is found on the life and work of Scottish painter and printmaker Ann Chassar Dallas. The British Museum gives Dallas the dates 1908-1997, and notes that she was a teacher in addition to professional artist, who lived and taught in Kircudbrightsire, Scotland. She was a member of the Grosvenor Artists in the 1930s, and exhibited at the Redfern Gallery, Goupil Gallery, New English Art Club, and the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art (1958). 

Dallas' art is held at the British Museum, London, and the Museum of New Zealand, Christchurch, NZ.
