Biography

New York-based painter, printmaker, and collagist Danielle Desplan was born in France in 1953. She received her M.A. in Sociology and Master of Fine Art with a focus on painting from the University of Paris-Sorbonne, and took courses at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. She moved with her husband to New York in 1987, where she continues to live and work.
