Biography

Yeung Ha was born in Kwang-ju, S. Korea. She received her MA and an MFA in printmaking and graphics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She has exhibited her prints and mixed media works nationally and internationally. Her work was selected for the 81st Annual International Competition at the Print Center in Philadelphia, PA and also for the 39th Annual National Juried Exhibition at the Center for the Visual Arts in Denton, Texas in 2007.

Yeung has also participated in the LAPS and Belfast Print Workshop Gallery exchange show in 2006 and the LAPS (Los Angeles Printmakers Society) and NY Society of Etchers exchange show in New York City in 2004. She was recently included in the Encyclopedia of Asian American Artists.

Yeung is a founding member of Paper Gem Printmakers, a group of nine printmakers in San Francisco South Bay area. She has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Madison; Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN; San Jose Museum of Art School, and the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, CA.
