Bay Area-based painter, printmaker, and collaborative artist Kate Delos was born in Mexico in 1945. She holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and San Francisco State University. She taught at Solano Community College where she was honored as a Distinguished Faculty Member in 2000 and from which she retired in 2007. In addition to her fine art and teaching careers, she has worked as a book illustrator for collections of poems by Rena Rosenwasser.

Delos has exhibited at the Foyer, d’Acuiell (Paris); the Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo; and the Berkeley Art Center. Her work is held in the collections of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) and Stanford University’s Cantor Arts Center. She is a member of the California Society of Printmakers.
