Little is found on the life of printmaker, painter, and designer Pervez Captain, who was born in Allahabad, India on September 6, 1929. He moved to England in 1953 on a scholarship from the R.D. Sethna Trust, and finally and settled in Paris. Captain pursued printmaking while also working as a publicity designer, and he exhibited internationally, including in the 6th Annual Ljubljana Graphic Biennale in 1965. He died in Dreux, Centre-Val de Loire, France on July 4, 2003.
