Biography

Mireille Morency-Lay is a printmaker and painter born in Montreal, Canada in 1943. She moved to the Bay Area in the 1974 where she studied at Kala Institute (Berkeley) and with the Fort Mason Printmakers (San Francisco). She's been a member of various artists' organizations in Montreal as well as the Bay Area and has exhibited throughout the U.S. and Canada. Her work is included in the collections of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the National Gallery of Canada, among others. She continues to work in Canada.
