Biography

Polish printmaker, painter, sculptor and illustrator Ewa Kutylak was born in 1976. She attended the Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts, where she earned her postgraduate degree in graphic arts in the late 1990s, focusing on mezzotint, drypoint, and etching. Additionally, she has worked in theater set design, creating scenery for the play "Wyszynski Square - Mystery of the Road" and designing posters for "Danteida".

Extensive exhibitions have taken her to Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, China, Egypt, and the U.S., in both solo and group shows. Among her most recent exhibitions was at the 9th International Triennial of Graphic Art Bitola, Macedonia, in 2018. Awards and recognitions include a Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Wroclaw, a prize in graphic art at the 1st International Mini-prints and Ex Libris Exhibition in Guangzhou, China, and the Jusepe de Ribera award at the VIII Biennale of Graphics in Spain. Her work can be found in the Frederkshaven Kunstmuseum in Denmark.
