Description
"Site Oporto" is one of a series of monotypes Oliveira did that were inspired by his trips to Portugal, his ancestral homeland. The series, "Portuguese Sites" were done in the late 1990's. In 1999 Oliveira was awarded the Commander in the Order of Dom Infante Henrique by the Republic of Portugal. This print was originally purchased from the Marsha Mateyka Gallery in Washington, DC, one of his gallery affiliations since 1994.
