Description
The artist's daughter commented on "Moth": It was made on 2 plates because the press at the Atelier17 in NYC was small and could only accommodate half of the print. As I said, the orange stencil was added later…maybe 70's. What is so amazing about this piece is how Fred was able to reproduce almost perfectly 2 opposite images BY HAND etched on a plate. No computer graphics or anything. Truly amazing.
