Magnolias No. 1 is a decorative floral oil painting set against a gold backdrop. Magnolia grandiflora is a popular ornamental tree that has large, white fragrant flowers and glossy, leathery dark green leaves. In her painting, Jessie Arms Botke captured the life cycle of the magnolia flower.
