	Description
Sloan's early works were greatly inspired by Asian iconography and his work in theater set design during the Art Deco era. In this image, the stylized figure of a woman, reminiscent of ancient goddess sculptures, flies above the Hollywood hills with a torch in hand, spotlight illuminating the curves of her figure and the landscape.
