	Description
	The portrait of the Archbishop of Canterbury is from the portfolio f lithograpbs "Twelve Portraits" by William Nicholson, done in 1899.  Nicholson (1872 - 1949) was half of the Beggarstaff Brothers, together with James Pryde. H produced posters for commercial products and theatrical events. The style of these posters - simple shapes; flat color - became the hallmarks of Nicholson's graphic work.     Nicholson created "Twelve Portraits" for British publisher William Heinemann.
