Ellsworth "Skip" Taylor taught book design and graphics at the University of Kentucky, and his personal artwork toed the line between the world of graphic and fine art. In "Nightscape" he deftly utlizes simplicty to gain the most information from the image, employing a silver metallic coated paper and a field of uncluttered, deep midnight blue ink to convey a simple meditation on the night, the moon, and the rich elegance of a single word.
